vj dsa auditions today. but it doesn't remind me much of last year cuz my auditions was a quiet and peaceful one at siglap south.

quite sad, that the number of dsa places are lesser compared to the last two years

i can't wait for the dsa tenors to come in and join us
but then again, the 2007 batch of vj tenors are DEFINITELY not ready to set an example as seniors

it is very important to have good seniors, and of cuz vjchoir are able to produce seniors who are able to lead well, impart techniques, impart the efficient tradition of vjchoir.

it's just really sad to say that the tenors aren't ready. having four tk tenors who have an inflicted FRIVOLOUS character, i'm just super afraid the juniors will be badly influenced and that the tenors of my batch will bring the downfall in discipline, which of cuz in the long run, leads to good choral technique and tone.

the only pple who can save us is our sc martin and our joker-turned-serious vice chairman reuben. (sorry reuben, i dun wanna get fined )

honestly, the 2007 batch of vj tenors do not lack the tone.
but they lack the technique and DISCIPLINE to improve. seriously, the other three sections have improved tremendously.

i'm really happy that the year 2 seniors have taught us well, but in the end its up to ourselves to determine what's in us, what's in vj's standard of tenors.

slackers-turned-enthusiasts pple like jian and keith deserves the nod cuz they're not what they used to be ( sorry la, u guys noe u slacked back in tk. fine, with ME. )
but as a section its not enough

if anyone can't commit to even normal practices then i'll appreciate that he/she leaves and quit. im sure the whole choir stands the same ground as i do.

i'm sorry to say this tenors, but we really need the discipline.
dun give me that, give vj choir that.
